1. Purpose
This program supplements the communications program Telemate by
adding additional Alarm Songs to be played when you connect to a
BBS, or finish (or abort) a download or upload.
The TMInst.Exe program which comes with Telemate allows you to
select from among 19 Alarm Songs. TMusic adds 34 more Alarm
Songs.
The author of TMusic is not associated with the author of
Telemate. Both Telemate and TMusic are Shareware, however, I
suggest that you register Telemate BEFORE you register TMusic.
2. Why register?
In the Shareware version of TMusic, all features of the
registered version are enabled. However, there is an opening
screen on which you must press a function key to continue, and a
delay on exiting the program.
Registration costs $8.00, and entitles you to continue using the
program after you have tried it out. You will be able to skip
the opening screen, and there will be no wait to read the
shareware message on exiting the program. See the file
ORDERFRM.TXT for more details. Make checks payable to James T.
Henry III. If you are outside the U.S., please use a money
order.
In TMusic 1.0 and 1.1, unregistered users could not install all
of the songs in Telemate. This has been changed. You can
install any of the 34 songs in Telemate whether you are
registered or not.
3. Files
The following files should come with TMusic:
TMUSIC.EXE The program.
SONGS.DAT Data on the 34 built-in songs, used by the program.

FILE_ID.DIZ Brief description of the program.
These sixty-six files should be distributed in the archive
TMUSIC12.ARJ (or .ZIP or .LZH or whatever).
The file TMUSIC.CFG, which is created when you save your
configuration options, should *not* be distributed when you give
copies of the shareware version to others.
4. Distribution policy
To Uploaders, BBS Sysops, User Groups, and Disk Vendors
The Shareware version of TMusic can be distributed by anyone as
long as no charge is made for it.
The registered version cannot be distributed by anyone except by
special arrangement with the author. Write for terms.
The Shareware version cannot be sold for money or any other
consideration except with written permission from the author.
For permission to sell copies of the Shareware version of TMusic,
write and please send a copy of your catalog. If I am satisfied
with your explanation of the nature of Shareware and that users
must register with the author if they continue to use the program
after trying it out awhile, I will give permission.
The Shareware version of TMusic should be distributed in an
archive which *must* contain all sixty-six of the files listed in
section 3 above, and no others. The archive format (.ARJ, .ZIP,
.LZH etc.) is not important.
